With so many papers and final exams to study for, somehow the week was over before I knew it. On Wednesday I had my final Swedish speaking exam, which was a little tricky — we were to have a discussion about relationships, etc in a small group for about 20-25 minutes — but went ok in the end despite all my stressing and worrying. After the exam was over, Alanna (an Aussie from Brisbane) and I spontaneously decided to have a celebratory picnic in Lund Botanic Gardens. We bought delicious cheese, tomato, fresh bread and avocados and headed off to find a nice sunny spot in the gardens. We sat under a napkin tree (with flowers that look like draped napkins or tissues) and really enjoyed relaxing and eating in the evening sunshine. I also took great pleasure in taking those comparison photos I promised myself in January – taking pictures from the same points as I did in January to measure the difference across the seasons. Question by Precious: What colleges are good for teaching that are around my area?
I am a sophomore in High school and I wanna plan where I want to go. I wanna be a teacher in the field of world history or US history (maybe social science or political science. I’m not sure about that either.) I wanna go to a college that specialized in education and my major. Colleges like CalState Fullerton are somewhat in my area where I live 
And I heard they have a good teaching program. So.. Opinions? Suggestions?

Any of the California State Universities will do a very good job of providing you with the education you are seeking. In the mean time it would be wise for you to work on your writing style. You should get in the habit of avoiding the use of slang and pay more attention to syntax and verb agreement. Good luck with the selection of a university.

Entry from: Thekkady, India Entry Title: “Indiana Jones and the South Western Ghats” Entry: “The drive up the South Western Ghats felt like it was out of an Indian Jones movie. The scene is prefaced by the little transitional scene of the little airplane moving across the map with the infamous red line from point A to point B and then jump cut to the epic jungle scenery of the mountains of Kerala. I have never in my life witnessed such breathtaking views (well, I mean I’ve definitely seen some amazing sights, but this was just completely exotic to me). Hills covered in palm trees were visible as far as the eye could see, and I felt as though I would see King Kong off in the distance. Sadly, or fortunately (depends on how you look at it), I never did. But what I did see was equally stuff of legend: legend being elusive pictures in National Geographic or short blurbs about tea plantations in old textbooks. There it was, instead of being contextualized in my imagination it was now a living reality. Bits of history like churches built by missionaries were now right in front of me, and I wondered how they traversed these mountains over a century ago.
